New Hanscom Park Gazebo Replaces Structure Burned Down 3 Years Ago

Three years after the Hanscom Park gazebo burned down, the City of Omaha in partnership with the Omaha Parks Foundation reopen the new, metal gazebo. The gazebo is made possible through the generosity of Benny and Reba Benschoter.
New Gazebo Opens at Hanscom Park

Community members celebrated the opening of a new gazebo at Hanscom Park after the previous one burned down due to arson in 2022. Ann Rollag and her siblings honored their parents’, Benny and Reba Benschoter, legacy by donating the funds to make the new gazebo a reality.
