Omaha Parks Foundation to accept flags in time for Independence Day
(Omaha, NE) –The Omaha Parks Foundation (OPF) is pleased to be selected by Woodmen of the World Insurance Society as the recipient of American flags that will be displayed in the Omaha Parks. A ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1st at 11:30 a.m. in the North Plaza of the City County Building, 1819 Farnam Street.
Woodmen of the World is one of the largest distributors of U.S. flags and annually presents flags to worthy non-profit and community organizations as part of the company’s Flags Across America program. Since 2010, Woodmen of the World and the Omaha Parks Foundation have secured over 375 flags that are displayed in City of Omaha parks, community centers, and golf courses.

It is an honor to accept these flags from an outstanding Omaha organization during the week of the 4th of July holiday.”
