Omaha Parks Foundation to Receive American Flags from WoodmenLife

(Omaha, NE) –The Omaha Parks Foundation is pleased to be selected by Woodmen of the World Insurance Society WoodmenLife as the recipient of American flags that will be displayed in Omaha Parks. A ceremony, scheduled in honor of Flag Day is scheduled for Friday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the North Plaza of the City County Building, 1819 Farnam Street.

WoodmenLife is one of the largest distributors of U.S. flags and annually presents flags to worthy non-profit and community organizations as part of the company’s Flags Across America program. Since 2010, WoodmenLife and the Omaha Parks Foundation have secured more than 375 flags that are displayed in City of Omaha parks, community centers, and golf courses.
